Hi all
I am looking for a swarm and am very happy to assist in its collection. I'm based in Curtin and also have a hive in Ainslie.

G'day Sharon,

At the risk of having my post edited- Are you looking for a psychic beekeeper? It's hard to help without contact details.

I may be able to help, but I'm northside.

Just a bit more information for you. A large swarm landed here at my place on the 11/10/17. I left an empty cardboard box next to them overnight and the next day they had entered it with some assistance from me. I have never had any experience with bees before other than being stung as a child. My husband Peter has completed a beekeeping course at CIT a few years back so Peter knows more about them than me...anyway we purchased a brood box from Flow and I transferred the bees into that but unfortunately the bees left. I'm sure it was due to something I did or didn't do but I completely understand they are wild and free. I must admit I am a little heart-broken and dis-heartened. haha Anyway maybe we should wait until our flow hive arrives and we assemble it and wait to go to some further training etc before we ask for assistance with more bees. I have been doing a lot of reading and realise there is so much to learn. Thanks for replying to my original post. And Dermot if you know of a psychic beekeeper please pass on my phone number. haha

Regards, Sharon
