Bees In Brick Walls

Post by RivettBees » Mon Mar 27, 2017 3:41 pm

Hi,

I live in Rivett, and I have only recently noticed bees flying into a crack (one of the brick ventilation gaps) in my brick wall (it would have only been within the past 2-3 months or so). It is an old 1970's brick veneer house but it has in wall cavity insulation (rockwool insulation).

I was going to call an pest exterminator, but thought I would reach out to the ACT bee community first. I'm not sure it you can catch them or if you can benefit from them somehow? Otherwise if you know how to get them out of the wall? I am happy to pay for call out fee or removal fee.

Thanks,
Tom
